(More customer reviews)I had the vm9021 before this model... it got stolen during shipment to Germany.Basically you trade the tv tuner for usb support... fair trade to me. The only thing missing with the 9021 was usb. It's really the absolute best dvd/touch screen receiver for the money. I mean for under $500 you get features that don't come with the $700+ models.. the ipod connection cable, sd card, usb, I like how you can mix media in any order, my pioneer could play videos, music, or pictures, but you couldn't mix the different types of media.Sometimes it's a little slow changing from one mp3 to another on the usb, but I think that depends on the type of coding or something, because it only happens with certain albums.I haven't tested the bluetooth phone connection, but everything else works great.
