First, the iPOD is treated as a 500-song cd, so if you want to hear song #600, be prepared to press the "next track" button 599 times. Customer service at Power Acoustik told me this was expected behavior. Absolutely no option to make selections by artist, album, or genre.
The MP3 DVD feature gives you the option of scrolling through the folders, which are displayed behind the somewhat transparent "touch screen" scrolling buttons. Which makes it difficult to see your selections when scrolling.
The "Touch Screen" frequently duplicates button presses on it's own. When you press "Next Track" once, the unit will "Next Track" three or four times. The "Previous Track" does the same thing. This makes selections incredibly difficult and frustrating when you are just the "Next Track" away from your desired selection.
The unit is SLOW. Takes forever to load a DVD or USB Drive.
The radio feature is really the only other feature I use. It is great. My only complaint is the first option in the menu button (if accidentally pressed eg. frequently when driving) will reset all of your preset channels.
My unit lost button illumination (on left side of screen panel) after only about 7 months. Today, I wasn't able to get any CD/DVD to play. Looks like the DVD/CD feature is now burned out.
This is my first and only Power Acoustik unit, but from the looks of it they still have a LONG way to go in the software department. If all models use the same software they can count on not getting any more of my business.
